Since 2019, WomanCode has worked for digital inclusion, empowerment and female leadership. Our ambition is to bring digital skills closer to women and girls and to help a new generation of women emerge, able to take an active part in the digital transformation of Congo and Africa.
Our mission is to train, raise awareness, inspire, connect and support women and girls towards digital skills and opportunities.
We believe digital is a powerful lever for inclusion, economic empowerment and female leadership. Behind every figure are real women and girls whose lives are changing.
Before WomanCode, I knew almost nothing about graphic design. It was thanks to this training that I learned to create visuals and retouch photos. Little by little, I developed a passion that led me to photography.
In the past, my computer was only good for watching videos. You opened my eyes to the possibilities that digital offers. My dream now is to give others the same opportunities, whatever my field.
WomanCode veut également construire des passerelles entre les femmes, communautés et organisations africaines engagées dans le numérique.
Des collaborations ont été menées avec plusieurs pays, dont le Ghana, le Nigeria, le Togo, le Rwanda, la Côte d’Ivoire, le Sénégal, la RDC et l’Éthiopie.
Notre ambition est de favoriser les échanges d’expériences, les collaborations et la circulation des opportunités.
